The market overall is showing incredible resilience. However, there are only a handful of stocks keeping it moving up. Leadership is pretty week. It is likely we will see the bulls and bears fight it out more aggressively for dominance. No idea who will win. I would like to see the bears run things for a couple weeks. The more aggressive the better!
In the meantime the monthly NHNL and rolling 52 week NHNL are both negative. The capitalized NHNL is break even.
Had a good final couple of days of the week testing my shorting strategy. I am now using the full funds I plan on allocating to it for a while. The last couple weeks were not amazing. The trades on Thursday and Friday were really good and pushed it back up to slightly below where the average projected return is supposed to be. There is a variation of it I am now paper trading. We will see where that goes. I don’t expect the results to be as good. However, if it works, it will allow for a little more scale. There are not enough trades for it to be statistically significant yet.
