It was nice to take some time off. Note to self…it is hard to trade while traveling. It is better not to do it. Tracking is fine!
January is not normally a strong month for the market.
The Dow hit an all time high yesterday, but the others did not. Interesting divergence in indexes the last few weeks. There is a thought that indexes diverge near important inflection points. I have not researched that or know how true it is. What I do know is the market is marginally drifting higher with no clear direction on where it will go.
Capitalized NHNL flipped strongly positive, but the negatives continue to build. Given how top heavy the S&P is, the capitalized NH must be respected. The trend is still up, but for how long?
